This Star Wars pregnancy announcement has a hilariously dark twist

There are pregnancy announcements and then there are pregnancy announcements.

We've seen hundreds of Star Wars-themed ones on Reddit, but this is something else. And it has quite a dark twist:

See it? Princess Leia Organa and General Han Solo are going to have a baby — who is (coincidentally?) due December 2017, when Star Wars: The Last Jedi is to be released.

That baby, Ben Solo, will one day become one of the Knights of Ren (earning the cute moniker of "Jedi Killer" among the First Order ranks), and kill his dad! Read more...

Kylo Ren’s weird yet soothing ASMR video will give you all the dark side tingles

If you are a massive Star Wars fan and find ASMR videos strangely soothing, this nine-minute video is definitely your thing.

What more than Kylo Ren's husky voice to send you into shivers and tingles?

"Kylo Ren will get the information he needs from you, even if he has to find every one of your ASMR triggers," the description from the video, created by YouTubers Craven Moorhaus and Zak Koonce on their account Auralnauts, reads.

ASMR or autonomous sensory meridian response is a technique immensely popular on YouTube that uses audio to cause a physical response in a person.

Dear Star Wars fans naming your sons Kylo: Why?

It's enough to make you wonder how many people actually understood the very basic plot of The Force Awakens

According to the U.S. Social Security Administration's annual list of baby names released Friday, the name "Kylo" exploded in popularity in 2016. Which suggests a surprising number of fathers would like to end their lives being stabbed through the chest by their estranged emo sons.

Kylo was the 3,269th most popular baby name for boys in 2015, the SSA says — but in 2016 it shot up to number 901, making it the fastest rising boy's name on the chart. Read more...

Here’s a first look at Kylo Ren and Rey’s costumes from ‘The Last Jedi’ and OMG

Okay, everybody CALM DOWN, I don't want us all to freak out all at once but it seems we just got our first look at what Kylo Ren and Rey look like in the upcoming The Last Jedi thanks to, of all things, a video game.

On a promotional page for the upcoming Battlefront 2 (which looks all kinds of badass), GameStop Ireland drops a look at Ren and Rey in a slide that promotes a Last Jedi-theme expansion pack for pre-orders of the game.

And, wouldn't you know it, there are the pair of dueling lightsaber-wielders in what are described as "production stills" from The Last Jedi (to differentiate from in-game images).  Read more...
